Are you interested in becoming a Trustee for Crewe Men in Sheds CIO, we are a not-for-profit charity and all work is done on a voluntary basis
We are looking for trustees to join us at Crewe Men in Sheds / Crewe Shedders.
People who will bring fresh perspectives to the shed and be committed to help in taking us forward. Also help to make a difference for the community we serve and of course have a genuine interest in what we do.
We are committed to safeguarding for vulnerable adults and of course we would expect all to share this commitment.
We look after our members who may be retired, have mental health issues, physical disabilities etc or just need a place to go have a talk and a cuppa.
An interest in woodworking would be an advantage but not necessary. The application is open to all.
Any application will be subject to references and a Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS)
We will also ask that if you do not already hold a Safeguarding Certificate for vulnerable adults you agree that you will take one through one of our training companies.
Previous board / Trustee experience is not necessary, life experience, volunteering community involvement and passion are as valued as work-based knowledge and skills.
We would also be interested in hearing from applicants with expertise in capital development to help in raising funds for the shed.
